   Artist Partnership:

Healcrest partners with local artists to create functional art in the garden settings and to act as mentors to youth in both the school partnership programs and the summer internship program.
Chris St. Pierre created the Healcrest Urban Community Farm sign seen on this website. The summer interns built the frame and the raised beds the sign sits on.

Alberto Almarza, a local artist originating from Chile, fires pottery at Healcrest. Using both raw pit fire and a self-designed oven, Alberto make original art pieces ranging in size from ¼ of an inch to 2-3 feet in size. His art has been seen at the Mattress Factory, the 3 Rivers Arts Festival and throughout the city on a roving artists display.
